This California 6 piece isn’t just all about haircuts and full sleeve tattoos. It’s about the huge post-hardcore scene in which these guys have in only a short amount of time gained a huge following. Formed in High School soon began receiving attention with their 2007 EP release ‘She Watched The Sky’. The following year was spent touring the States non-stop with fellow hardcore acts such as The Blackout, Blessthefall, Four Letter Lie, and Pierce The Veil, cementing their growing status.

Whilst 2007 also saw the departure of then singer Jordan Blake, 2008 was a better year. A skylit Drive employed singer Michael Jagmin and released their angst-filled, highly anticipated debut full length, ‘Wires...and the Concept of Breathing’. Once again the band hit the road playing to crowds across the U.S. with August Burns Red, Silverstein and Greely Estates amongst many others.

2009 and 2010 brought a whole load more success for the band. They were invited on the Vans Warped Tour, released their second full length ‘Adelphia’ and took a trick across to Europe to tour. Now the word is out that these guys are a hugely promising band their latest record couldn’t have come at a better time. Released in early 2011 ‘Identity on Fire’ is likely to be the most exciting thing for hardcore fans this year.
