Asking Alexandria is the brainchild of lead guitarist Ben Bruce. He originally formed the band whilst living in Dubai but they soon split. Bruce moved back to England in 2008 a quickly restarted the project employing a totally new line up. In no time at all Asking Alexandria jetted off to the States in order to promote their music there. They toured consistently through 2008 and into 2009 before settling down to record the first studio album as the new Asking Alexandria. Following the recording of the album and signing to Sumerian Records the band began touring again supporting big names such as Enter Shikari, The Bled and Evergreen Terrace.

With the release of their second studio album in 2011 the band once again headed to North America. This year is definitely going to be a busy one for the guys as as soon as the return back to this side of the Atlantic they’ll be heading around the U.K. for a much anticipated tour. Straight after this though they are heading back to the States this time for their first ever headline tour and another spot at The Bamboozle festival, probably the world’s biggest event for hardcore. With the amount that Asking Alexandria tour you might think that their live shows will suffer. But their music is about huge amounts of energy and the band pull out all the stops to please their hardcore fans.
