Blood Brothers tells the story of two fraternal twin brothers, who through a twist of fate, are separated at birth. As a discussion on nature vs. nurture, one brother goes on to become a Oxbridge educated councilor, while the other falls into a life of crime and unemployment. The story evolves as both brothers fall in love with the same woman, thus raising age old questions about class and opportunity in Britain.

Most recently Melanie C from the world famous pop group Spice Girls was nominated twice for the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her take as Mrs. Johnstone, the embattled mother of the twin boys who must make the most heartbreaking of decisions in hopes of making a better life for her boys.
