The legend is back and will be playing across the U.K. in support of his latest solo album entitled ‘Clapton’. The new album is unlike anything we’ve heard before and, as Clapton has stated, is a surprise for the fans just as much as it was for him whilst recording it. Eric Clapton rose to fame after he joined The Yardbirds in the early 60s. In 1965 Clapton left and had a subsequent brief stint with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. It was in this relatively short time the Clapton developed a name for himself as one of the U.K.’s greatest blues guitarists - anyone who was travelling through Islington Underground station in 1967 would have seen “Clapton is God” affectionately spray painted onto a wall there! It was after he left the Bluesbreakers that Cream were formed and in their short time as a band quickly solidified themselves and Clapton as one of Rock music’s greatest proponents.
Eric Clapton is as much a rock hero today as he was in the time of Cream. Eric Clapton tickets are a pass to see a true icon and one of the best guitarists there has ever been. Whether you can remember first hearing Eric playing way back when you still had the long hair and British Rock and Roll was coming through or you’re one of the many young fans who love Clapton’s timeless music, having the chance to see the man himself perform cannot be passed up. Delivering a concert featuring songs from throughout his vast career, tracks like “Going Down Slow”, “Badge” and “Before You Accuse Me”, Clapton consistently wows audiences and provides some seriously unforgettable moments like hearing the opening solo to “Layla”.
He may be turning 65 soon but he’s still going as strong as ever. Eric Clapton tickets are now on sale his latest U.K. shows. Looking for tickets? We’ll show you some of the best prices out there on the web so you can find and compare the best tickets available.
