It may not feel like it, but Far East Movement have been in the music game for a decade now. This is a massive accomplishment for a bunch of MCs who grew up as childhood friends in the Koreatown section of Los Angeles. Far East Movement members all have different Asian origins, which is not all that surprising for a group of friends from LA, but is it is remarkable for a hip hop act. There really aren't all that many Asian roll models in the hip hop game. Thankfully Far East Movement are coming to the UK and should be set to change all that for a new group of fans.

Another difference Far East Movement have with other acts in hip hop is that they are very community oriented when it comes to activism. It has always been Far East Movement goal to promote the causes they believe in, along with promoting their music. They have sponsored drug rehab centers in their own neighborhood. Though... lets not forget about the music. Far East Movement have provided tracks for Fast and the Furious Tokyo drift, as well as the show Entourage and a host of other media. So basically theu are mega popular and Far East Movement tickets are hard to get.
