The career Nils Lofgren has led has seen him play on some incredible concerts with the world’s biggest artists. As a solo musician he’s earned himself constant critical acclaim for his work. At the age of 17 Lofgren featured on Neil Young’s ‘After The Gold Rush’ album and later toured with him for ‘Tonight’s The Night’. After his work with Young and a brief stint with Crazy Horse Lofgren recorded his first solo record in 1975, an album which was regarded as one of the best of that year. Continuing his work with some of the biggest artists of the day Nils joined the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and took to the road for the infamous ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ tour. Safe to say his reputation as a musician now sealed Lofgren went back to his solo work, which took him into the studio and back in the tour bus and produced collaborations with the likes of David Crosby, Graham Nash and Ringo Starr.

Nils Lofgren has taken his guitar around the world, played on some of the biggest stages with some of the best names and all this for over 40 years. It’s no wonder then that Nils is a performer celebrated by countless fans. His live shows, sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic, sometimes both, are the chance to see one of music’s longest standing guitar greats. A little while ago you would have caught him not only strumming a guitar but flipping about the stage.
